About online OSHA courses
Who provides this training?
OSHA4EVENTS is a marketing affiliate of OSHAcampus®, a leading provider of online self-paced OSHA outreach training. They offer dynamic, expert-designed programs that go beyond OSHA training guidelines and cover safety regulations across various industries. As an OSHA-authorized training provider, their engaging online programs are recognized in all 50 states.
Are they specific to live events?
The topics covered in these self-paced courses address safety issues found in the typical live event workplace. However, due to OSHA program requirements, they are not specific to live events. Students who are familiar with the live event environment should be able to easily make connections between the material and their own workplace. For those who are new to live events, we suggest taking advantage of the resources listed to further augment their learning.
Which course should I take?
The recommended OSHA course depends on a number of factors, including your geographic location, occupation, position, and goals. For most workers, OSHA 10 Hour General Industry will provide solid foundational safety knowledge and satisfy any regulatory requirements. However, as some phases of an event are considered “construction” by some jurisdictions, OSHA 10 Hour Construction may be appropriate as well. Check with your supervisor for their recommendation.
For those with supervisory duties, OSHA 30 Hour General Industry or OSHA 30 Hour Construction is recommended based on the specifics of your job. Select a course above for detailed information.
